Build-A-Bear

posted 27th Dec
I have a coupon for $10 off a build a bear at $30 or more. Is it plausible to get a bear for $30 or are they way more expensive than that?

yeah, the bears range from $12-$26ish. outfits, depends.. you can get just undies for $3, shorts/pants for $5 and a shirt for $5.. or complete outfits from $12-18. My son got a bear with a woody toy story outfit and it was like $22 after coupon.

The outfits and such are what add up.
The bear is cheap.
The clothes...not so much.

I got a shirt and a pair of shoes for a $15 bear....Spent $40.

My Son got a bear, outfit, shoes and brush for like $60. Turns out all he wanted was the bear cause he rips the clothes off   It was a waste IMO but the experience is good (I guess, lol).

It'll easily be between $30-40 choosing a low end bear and basic clothes. That place is expensive, cute, and fun all in one. I'd use the $10 coupon and try it out. If he doesn't like the bear, it'll be cute decor and he might take to it when he's older. Christopher has several, but we've only done them on special occasions and we keep them put up because we're afraid he'll loose the clothing. We've done them for Holidays, Birthdays, etc.

I love build a bear! I have several, mainly from Mothers Day. I made one that has a poem inside of it in memorium of a friend that passed away. That started my big love for them. I then got some from Lily, and she has a ton too. I have a cat in the hat one which is in memorium of another friend that passed away. He has a pic of him dressed as the cat in the hat on his headstone.

You can totally spend less than 30... as long ass you dont go nuts with accessories ;)

But sometimes they have sales where its ANY bear, ANY outfit, ANY pair of shoes for 30 bucks. I love those sales!

We went and he got a kitty (named kitty, lol) and he LOVES it! We got a shirt and underwear and he doesn't really like the clothes but we had to get them in order to use the coupon so essentially they were free. It was $22 total so not too bad!

Yeah, we'll see if it lasts. He doesn't play with any stuffed animals on a regular basis except his lovey Rupert. He asked if he could sleep with Kitty tonight though, lol.
