It most definitely was. Babies died, yes. That is terribly sad, yes. But it was at the hands of their parent(s) misuse. The owner fought the recall as much as she could.

It's sad but I don't think a recall was necessary. It's user error just like the bumbo recall where babies were falling out of them from up on tables and counters. Use it properly, as the manufacturer instructs, and it is safe.

I want to ask out of pure curiosity, but how is it possible for babies to be injured if used properly and while supervised by an adult? I call user error on this, just like the bumbo seat recall. Watch your kid and don't put them on the bed or on the counter and tah dah there should be no problem

Suffocation. Basically baby wasn't harnessed and the whole thing was put in a crib. Baby rolled over and got wedged in between napper and crib, suffocated and died. Parent error. But of course they always want to blame somebody.

I kinda want one...for me lol

user error. If your child is to big for it, don't use it. If your child is rolling over in their sleep chances are they shouldn't be using something like this anyway.
There was a girl who posted a while back that her child fell out of his rock-in-play. He was a year old I think. How he even fit in it IDK bc my son is 3 months is about to out grow it.
People just need to use common sense on things.

If I owned one I'd keep it because it seems common sense (like the bumbo, which instill have and don't have any adapter thingies)

Injust wanted to post it in case mamas hadn't seen so they could
1) return if they wanted to get rid of theirs
2) make sure they weren't using it in a risky way
3) have info to share with anyone they know using one (Esp improperly)
