Are any of these things normal. Help!!!!!

Okay. So lately in my 2nd trimester I have been having pains in my sides. Its usually just when I sit up for long periods of time. But im starting to feel the pains even when I lay down. 3 weeks ago I went to my baby doctor to ask her what they were and she said they were gonna test my urine for a uti. I called for my results and no uti. So why are my sides hurting and is it normal? Im 22 weeks and 1 day pregnant now and yesterday me and my boyfriend had sex. Alot longer and rougher then usual. I went to wipe and there was pink blood on the toilet paper. I kept getting up and wiping every 10 mins to see when it stopped. It stopped in about a hour or less. I could still feel my little boy kicking. The sex didnt hurt so why did i bleed like that and is it normal? I also have a really bad rash on my right arm. From my elbow up. It kinda looks like ring worm but a big rash. The doctos said she didnt know what it was and gave me meds to put on it. Anybody else break out and is it normal? Thanks girlies. I freak out about everything.

I'm 22 weeks and the only thing I can really relate to is the pain in your sides. Mine alternate though. One week it's my right side, the next it's my left. My left side currently hurts to the point where I sometimes find it difficult to walk. I still feel the baby moving also, so I'll ask at my next appointment. Hope we can figure this out.. and I hope you feel better soon!  

You are going to have to describe the pains better than that. You get a lot of different pains when your pregnant.

From the way you just described, I would think it is round ligament pains?

Bleeding during sex is normal. Your cervix is engorged with blood while pregnant and that is what causes it.

I am not sure what the rash is. Can you take a picture? Maybe Pupps?

The pains sound like regular round ligament pains which- yes- are normal. Spotting after sex &/or pelvic exams are normal also but doesn't necessarily mean you'll have spotting every time. Skin changes are also normal. As for it being a rash, keep your Dr posted on it (changes in color, growth, added itchiness, etc) you could have pregnancy related exzema.

The pains in my sides kinda feel like i stretched out to far and now there sore. Sometimes I can touch it and it hurts.


The bleeding really freaked me out cause its never happened before to me after sex. Scared the crap outta me and my boyfriend.

The rash is very itchy today. But the meds look like there gonna take it away.

The pains in your side definitly sound like round ligament pain and it's totally normal.

The bleeding is also normal, but it probably wouldn't hurt to go easier next time. ;)

The rash on your arm -- I have no idea.

The bleeding after sex is completely normal. During pregnancy your body has a higher volumn of blood. If he even just lightly hit ur cervix during sex it can cause some bleeding. Nosebleeds are also normal.

The pain....idk. it could be a lot of things. Try drinking more water more frequently. It could be kidney infections, it could be how the baby is positioned or just muscles stretching.

The rash, hard to tell without a pic. Dry skin is extremely normal. I have eczema so when I'm pregnant the dry skin intensifys and sucks pretty bad. If ur Dr doesn't know, try setting up and appt. With a dermatologist.

Having sex can cause some very light pinkish blood... it is just like when u go to the Dr. And they examine ur cervix it sometimes will lightly spot... you will need to be careful when having sex, it can cause contractions or even early labor.... as for the pains you are feeling I would have the Dr. Check for kidney stones or protein in your urine... I have the same problems as well as my son baring so low I get severe pains in my back hip n legs... I never used a maternity belt but I def would recommend it since your options for some kind of relief are extremely limited.... this is my 5th soon to be born and I'm a high risk so I feel all your pain... but I promise whatever pain and frustrations u have now will all be forgotten when u hold your child for the first time =)

Im high risk for my blood pressure. So everything that happens I freak out over. If I dont feel Jayden move for a whole day I freak out. Then the next day hes kicking all day. I freak out over everything with this pregnancy. I cant wait to hold my little boy.

Yeah I have high blood preassure and early preclampsia (however it is spelled lol) I getin panic mode at time also, I'm so used to Elijah Jr. Moving every 2min so there are days he gives Mommy a break and I start rubbing my belly trying to adjust him to move and then I wish I had left his lil butt alone... take it easy the more stress on lil things u bring to yourself the more risk u put yourself at hun

And your Dr. Should have def told u that having sex with those problems are a HUGE NoNo... I don't like it myself but my son and me come first before any pleasure.

I didn't realize they take sex away from those with possible high bp issues. i thought it was just us pre-term labor/IC girls or someone with placenta previa. Learn something new every day... 

i get pains to but its just in my lower right side of back its been cooming and go for a few days it never gets worse but it makes it hard to sleep at night. its feels like a bad charlie horse or like my muscles are twwisted up.

High Risk all in general sex is a No... I see 3 high risks OB's and all of them told my Fiancè and me No Sex =(.... it brings early labor and contractions... I didn't know bout it either till they all told me =( which sucks cause my hormones be over drive and I'm def frustrated

Yeah I'm pretty high risk all over the place too. My local hospital's L&D actually refused to see me last time I was pregnant because I was 'too high risk'. My MFM got really PO'd about that too. I mean for me, I have a cerclage and PTL and type 1 diabetes. It's a no brainer if there's something fake holding my cervix shut, probably a good idea not to stir the pot. ;)

One time I wanted to know the gender of my 2nd baby and I asked the U/S tech if she could tell what the sex was. She misunderstood me and got all offended and told me i should ask the dr those types of questions. My MFM came in and explained that I should know by now that I can't have sex and an U/S tech is not the right person to ask. I of course looked at her like she was crazy until i figured out wth they were talking about. lol It was a boy. I should have just assumed it was. Dh only makes blue sperm i think.
