I was talking about myself quoting the wrong one....

& by handling it differently I meant with the whole bible thing & sitting down in the room after. She should've just been taken out of the room right then and there that that should've been the end of it. Maybe next time lay her on the couch with a movie she likes or try reading her a book she likes.
Like I said before, some kids are more prone to the paranormal (if it is that) then others. Maybe there really is something in your house that only she can communicate with. You never know, I would just try to make her forget about it as my h as possible.

I freaked out. I screamed and told her to come here. I picked her up and walked over and it stopped.. it was coming from the top of the dresser not by the breaker. I did the only thing I could think to do. I grabbed my bible and walked over there and said "You are scaring my daughter. LEAVE NOW in the name of Jesus and never come back." Then I walked carried her over to her play kitchen and sat on the ground next to her to try to comfort her,

Do not try to pretend you handled it the best you could when this is exactly what you wrote in the OP. Your child was in the room when you were freaking out on her.

exactly. She wrote in the OP that her daughter was right there hen she did the "begone" stuff.

Freaking out, screaming, and grabbing her was exactly the WRONG thing to do.

Yeah, the ticking/clicking sounded l,ike the circuit breaker, which is why I freaked. We live in an old house, it has some eletrical issues, half of the outlets do not work. I screamed for her to come here and snatched her up because I thought there was an electrical issue, which warrants me yelling and panicking.. I'm scared smurfless that this house will one day go up from an electrical fire. Ive had outlets spark at me before and had plugs from things burnt and blackened. I started thinking something weird after I realized the sound was coming from the top of the dresser area where she always claims to see things... and then the whole glass flying at my head thing.

Did you see the pic I posted? That door looking thing on the wall has our circuit breakers and what not in it.

Really no matter how you handled the situation there will be some who will not believe a word you say. Those are the ones you don't need to explain yourself too. Some people are more suseptible to the paranormal while others who don't believe in it will usually never experience it because they don't believe. It's the ones who may be open to these things that will witness this. I have had experiences as well so I know these things can happen. Just if she keeps on saying there is something there and it's scary and wanting to get her instead of saying anything more about to her or in front of her just keep a close eye on things. If she starts having weird scratches or something then be worried. Other than that find a priest who is willing to go into your home and bless it.

How silly that everyone's focused on a "ghost" when OP lives in a house with electrical issues that could go up in flames at any time and kill her child.

Come on OP... what, are you going to throw a bible at a fire and tell it to leave your child alone?

It's time to fix the problem or move.

I think that will only work if it is a Christian fire.

But in all seriousness, I would not being staying in that house if the house was so bad that I was paranoid it might go up in flames. The outlets sparking would be enough for me to move out of that bitch.

I didn't even think of this. I think because she said something about a glass being thrown at her I was thinking paranormal. But now that you mentioned it, I'd be gone if my house isn't safe at all (in an electrical way). I'd get that electrical problem fixed, OP.

Tis' true. I'd be more terrified of my breaker box exploding than an supernatural being.

Same here!
A supernatural being couldn't kill me like a fire/explosion could.

OP definitely need to do something about your electrical problems. I know everyone has already said it, but when it comes to safety I don't think you can ever hear it enough. Lots of places catch on fire because the adults living there didn't/wouldn't address the problems. Maybe when things aren't clicking in the walls in there your daughter will sleep better.

i think honestly you are going the wrong way about it. holding a bible up to it and asking it to go away isnt going to work at all.

light a candle and ask the spirit calmly to stop bothering your daughter. as much as it might seem a little crazy, usually spirits dont bother kids unless it is a child that is wanting to play with another child that hasnt passed on yet.

usually giving a spirit light will open it up and help it move on.

A friend of mine works in construction and is supposed to get an electrician in to work on some of the outlets soon. We live with my parents, and I can't afford to move or to get it fixed. I just don't use those outlets for the time being and unplug everything before going to bed. The problem seems to only be in my room. Also if the microwave and convection oven are running at the same time it trips the breakers.
