LOL so true!! Everyone says I have the perfect 'boy' belly... it's definitely a girl, haha.

I only gained 5lbs with him...TOTAL.
I got pregnant at 168, delivered at 173. Went home at 151. By the time I took him to his LC checkup 2 days later to make sure he was gaining, I was 138. I LOST 30LBS FROM PREGNANCY!!!!

Of course, I was dumb and chose hormonal BC after him...gained 35lbs back in ONE FREAKING MONTH!!! It was NUTS.

It was a totally freak thing, but I wouldn't mind breaking close to even by 6w PP this time around

Yeah, I gained NOTHING with him. He was liposuction and trimmed me down everywhere else. I was a size 14 (tight!) when I got pregnant and a perfect size 6 a week after I had him.

I was a size 6 when I got pregnant this time (barely...I couldn't breathe til I'd worn them an hour, haha)...I'm hoping to be in 8s within a few weeks after this one----no way I can get lucky enough to stay skinny this time (but I wouldn't complain about getting to my goal weight the easy way, haha).

I was 145-150ish when I got pregnant this time (was 175+ last January) so I'm hoping to keep my gain under 30lbs so I can lose it all quickly after delivery. My goal is 125, so if I magically lose 20 like I lost 30 with my first, it wouldn't be a tragedy.

God knows I eat like a horse and the babies come out big, so my doc and I both ignore the scale

I haven't announced gender and JUST because my last 2 were boys EVERYONE is screaming that this one HAS to be a girl because she's my miracle, etc...

Except, last time I checked, a miracle could be a boy too.

No idea why, but I'm totally offended that people are SO insenstent that I NEED a girl this time. I guess because I have ZERO preference (with my history, it'd make me a horrible person to care and/or have gender disappointment, IMO). I'd have been totally happy to see a peen again.

And the next person who calls her vagina a "hamburger" is going to get throat punched. One girl on my FB did it CONSTANTLY and now when I picture my daughter's parts I picture ground meat----and eating a hamburger is now impossible---and I LOVE hamburgers.

And yes, this thread has completely devolved into me chatting about pregnancy everything. Because I'm bored and need entertainment, clearly. That's what happens when I run out of yarn before I run out of energy!

OMG I know what you mean!!! I feel exactly the same way, except I haven't had any problems like you have   but like, a bunch of people were so sure it was a girl... then it was & everyone was all, "omg I bet you're sooo happy, one of each!"   I actually preferred another boy... XD

Lol I heard that in the beginning with DS, I was sure he was a girl at one point cos my skin and hair were oily, I was covered in zits that I could NOT leave alone, and I had this ghostly pale look all the time. It was probably just the crappy diet from the last two years catching up on me after DS started sucking everything good out of my system
Def a waste of time with the polish, but a french tip might look nice? And easy to maintain ;)

I am pissy with people who are like "You'll have one of each! It's perfect" etc..

No, perfect would be having my 2 sons ALIVE and adding a sister. Perfect would be feeling complete. No amount of future babies is gonna make me feel complete because I'll ALWAYS be missing my babies, no matter how many I have later or what they're genders.

Having a matching set doesn't automatically launch me into rapturous bliss

But I AM pretty excited for ruffles and bows and glitter

French tips chip off too. I am just going with clear-coat and keeping my nails really clean so it looks kindof french tipped

I got lucky with my boy as well, when I weighed myself at his six week check up I was lighter than I was pre-pregnancy. I think that was because I'd been eating better and because I'd cut out the beer (of course) I lost all the extra weight I'd been carrying.
If you did it once, you can do it again ;) And clearly, pregnancy really agrees with you. Maybe she'll be nice and not make you gain a tonne of weight   But as long as your healthy, thats the main thing. And running around after two little ones is bound to knock off whatever weight you do gain lol

Lol I'm tempted to paint my nails now! But DS is attached to my boob so can't until he's in bed. He does this thing at night where he feeds for like two hours then practically goes into a milk-induced coma for 6 hours lol it's great

i've been careful so far because I know that if I go on bed rest (highly likely), I'll probably gain like its my job. So, keeping it minimal by not snacking on crap and cutting the junk out of my diet is helping.

But I am CRAVING some tortilla chips right now. NO salsa. just plain! *nom*
Debating it since I already brushed my teeth...Hmm...

My son was up every single hour to nurse until he started solids. His reflux meant he couldn't eat much without vomiting it all up, so he'd chug and chug, vomit half of it up, then sleep peacefully only to wake hungry half an hour later. When he started solids, it helped keep things down (meds sure as hell didn't work at ALL), so he finally slept through the night EVERY night until we went home for Christmas and he wasn't in HIS bed, so he freaked and we started cosleeping---which we didn't stop til he was 2.5. Its almost been a year since I kicked him out of my bed. But he still comes in and snuggles around dawn and tells me he lvoes me and hugs me tight til full daylight when he turns back into the raucous sweet little ball of crazy he is.

Were you not on bed rest with DS1? If you dont mind me asking lol. They say snacking on crunchy stuff like carrots and celery helps curb the junk food cravings, but I'm an addict so what helps most mere mortals stop eating junk does nothing for me ;)
MMMM corn chips.. I ate a whole bag of nacho cheese doritos earlier today   I honestly don't know how I'm not the size of a house! The BFing makes me eat like it's going out of style lol. I vote yes on the corn chips
