re: How many weeks do I look?

With my last, (my 3rd) at 40wks I measured 46 wks, I was huge and so was he, 9 lbs and 13oz!

Thanks. I need to take some bare-belly pics because it is looking so HARD. I was standing in my bathroom before my shower today going "holy crap! I look pregnant from the FRONT!" and with the fuller rounder boobs and big round belly, I felt all womanly and sexy and vital.

I LOVE my body when I'm pregnant. Its the only time I'm totally happy with the way I look (except my skin, I'm breaking out like a 12 year old!). I hate that pregnancy is so stressful for me because I'm so high risk---if it weren't for that I'd love pregnancy completely!

I didn't even know you could measure that high
I must have a shorter torso or something because at one point my dr stopped really measuring because my uterus was behind my ribs.

My first was 9lb 13oz and I'm 5'3, so he had nowhere to go but OUT. I made them measure me before my water broke in hospital. 53cm. That guy was just made to take up the whole room---even at 3 he's only a little bigger than average, but he's got a TON of personality so he seems even bigger than he is!

My next was 1lb 6oz, so I didn't get very far with him, but he measured a little big for his age en utero.

I'm hoping my penchant for making big babies keeps up and this little girl grows big and strong and healthy and IF she comes preemie, she's got a little benefit of being a little bigger and a little fatter than most of the babies for her gestation.

Well it definitely loves you back, you look fantastic   I had the pre-pubescent *sp?* skin while I was pregnant too, and it hasn't gone away yet almost 9 weeks PP
I'm SO glad little girl is sticking. She'll be a fighter like her mama

True. We do get bigger faster with late rpregnancies. This one I got big FAST, but slowed down. I'm still growing every week, but i swear by 7 weeks I had a rock hard belly and could feel my uterus above my pubic bone. BUT, even though my uterus measured 3-4 weeks over then, it only measures 2ish weeks over now, so doc said it was just my body going "Oh! I remember this" and going into overdrive.

She is growing nicely, though. She kicked the doc hard enough that he felt it and JUMPED at 15 weeks (the u/s tech said she thought she felt a thump at 13 weeks, but baby didn't repeat it, so she wasn't sure). So, I know she's a strong one even if she does turn out a little petite like her mama

I think I've gotten pretty big fast w/ this one too, but I've definitely slowed down on the growing. I haven't grown very much in the past month or so. I'm sticking out a lot w/ this one, like you lol

yeah, I measured 42 at my 35 week appointment with my son (I went over due). Because of it my doc sent me for ultrasounds to make sure it wasn't too much fluid/etc. Turns out he just had a growth spurt and got EXTRA fat around 33-35 weeks because I went from measuring 2ish weeks over to 7 weeks over in the 3 weeks between appointments. My doc was like  ----and then was totally surprised when he was nearly 10lbs at birth

Coulda told him he was gonna be huge just by LOOKING at me:
34 weeks with my first:

one month later---this is the last one I have. I was too embarrassed by my stretchies to take a bare pic. I was at the pool when I took this one and WAY too embarrassed to take my tank off out of the water---but I DID wear a string bikini under, haha.

I get pretty big too. But with my first I lost all the weight right away. I hope it works like that this time around.

I swear I looked GREAT with both my boys. Perfect skin and hair.

This time? My hair went to smurf for the entire first trimester (expensive shampoo got it back. Keratase FTW!) My skin looks like it did in middle school (worse!) and even cleaning it 2-3 times a day doesn't help much (some improvement!). Thank God my doc said I can use Stridex pads with salicylic acid before bed. I swear its the ONLY thing keeping it at bay. I was HOPING the 2nd trimester would get rid of it, but so far it hasn't!

They say girls make you ugly!

So far I've gained like maybe 2 lbs and my face/neck look thinner. Other than the acne, I think I look pretty decent. My nails are FABULOUS. Like drag queen awesome. I get asked where I got them put on all the time if I have them polished. Too bad I'm too lazy to keep them polished all the time, haha. I chip it WAY too easily for all that.

I always stick out WAY to the front. People have told me with ALL my pregnancies that I must be having boys because I'm round and out front like a basketball...

Proves gender doesn't effect how your uterus stretches   This one is ALL girl parts in there. No peen to be seen!
