I think there's something deeply psychologically wrong with you if you think giving birth is a sexual experience.

This should have trigger in the title...just saying. I've actually been raped so the term birth rape is slightly offensive. My birth plan also didn't go as planned but it was nowhere near the mental pain of an actual rape

not in legal term. but when you are put under without consenting.. then given a cesarean without consenting (which does happen).. it's pretty shifty. very unacceptable and I can see the association with rape.. except those women are rarely given justice.

The word rape doesn't just mean forced intercourse though, it can also mean violent abuse or violation. For example, "The rape of justice." I think that's where the term comes from.

I have never heard that term and I hope I never do (outside of here). What a horrible way to describe a birth.

/snort. Since when are the majority of real rape victims given justice? It's a hell of a lot easier to sue for malpractice than it is to get your rapist put in jail.

How the smurf do you get that birth is a sexual experience?

The only sexual thing about it, is that sexual organs are used....which, if that's how you get that it's a sexual experience, so is breastfeeding. And don't even get me started on how smurfed it is to see THAT as sexual.
