Frankie is a nickname. Full names for that could be:

Frances
Frank
Franklin

Noone was even being mean. They were just stating that Franky is a nickname and Rhy or Reese is the correct spelling. If you are stuck on names then don't ask for opinions because people will give you their unsugar coated opinions.
