Start your LO on juice ? i started my LO on Pear juice, with a little bit of it and alot of water, hes almost 2 months... he loves it... im hoping i didnt start him to early though

2 months is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too early IMO. They don't even NEED anything but formula/breastmilk until they're a year old. Juice really shouldn't be started so early, Mama.

That sounds wayyyyy too early for juice.

Uhh you're insane. 2 month old babies should not be getting ANYTHING but breastmilk or formula. This can be incredibly dangerous.

My son is 17 months old and has only had juice twice

There is NO need for juice.

DD drank juice extremely diluted at 12 months. And at 3 she might have juice once a week.

I think ds was 7 months. He gets one sippy cup a day half water half juice. Apple pear or white grape. I gave him something tasty to encourage using a sippy cup.

DD had terrible constipation to the point where she would get baby hemorrhoids and her butt would bleed. So I gave her juice at 6 weeks because it was better than a laxative or a suppository. But unless your doctor has told you to do so for this reason it is not recommended to give them anything for at least 6 months.

I had to give mine an ounce/half ounce of juice at that age for constipation. Both my kids had sphincter issues. They didnt die.lol

My pedi(a GI specialist)is baffled by my kids bowels. They're weird.

While these other ladies do have a point, that young infants systems are very sensitive, they dont have to freak you out. But, if its unnessecary, dont give it to him.

Even if its baby juice? it has no sugar or anything.. uggh and here i thought i was doing the right thing...   he only gets it once a day.. and its like an ounce of it...

DD is 12 months old and I just started giving her juice regularly.
