best friend wants to use the same name as me..

So basically my only friend just tested positive at my place this past Saturday and her last period was only a few days after mine so I'm assuming we'll be very close in due dates. Anyways we were in my kitchen and I told her the names SO and I had decided on which have been our chosen names since we were pregnant with our first LO. Its kinda weird we had our first, second and third boy names picked but only 1 girl name picked. So tonight she texts me and asks me if we have a girl this time if she can use the boy name we had picked. Which I guess I wouldn't mind so much if this was 100% going to be our last baby but I haven't decided yet I mean yeah 3 kids is a nice amount of kids, especially for our age but just thinking about it getting tied and never being able to have more kids, yes I know it can be reversed but still. I replied to her with I don't know, what if I do have a boy this time or we have a girl and we decide to have more down the road and have a boy, I'd want to use that name and she said it wouldn't bother her if we had kids with the same name. The thing is it would totally bother me if we had kids with the same name. If I say yes go ahead and use it and we have a girl now but then a boy in a few years I just wouldn't be able to use that name. I wouldn't feel right using it because she's basically my only friend around here and we've known each other for like 14 years. I think my crazy hormones (I've been very off the charts emotional) are just making things worse for me cause I'm so upset with this. I just told her 5 days ago that that was the name we were planning on using for our next boy. I don't know, am I over reacting? What would you say to basically your best girl friend if she wanted to name her baby the same as yours? I mean I know theres a chance she can have a girl, I can have a girl, boys just run in both our husbands families so the chances of either of us getting girls isn't high.

It's just a name and you don't own it. Pick another one or keep with it. it's not really a huge deal.

So use it if you ever get a chance. No rule saying you and your friend can't have a kid with the same name.

The name doesn't belong to you. If you didn't want anyone to use it, you shouldn't have told anyone.

She's basically saying that even if I have a boy and she has a boy they still want to use that name. Our babies will be born within weeks of each other and have the same name? I just don't think I could do it.
