I have 3 cats but have to get rid of the one. Ever since getting pregnant she has started going on the floor instead of the litter box :/

Yes its all about MS. I have that horrible form that is 24/7 and nothing helps. I am on 3 different meds to try and keep me from losing anymore weight (I've already lost 7lbs)

UGH.. I'm so furious.. Granted I'm sure most of it has to do with hormones. But I've been planning to do a gender reveal party since before I got pregnant. When I found out we realized that I would be 16 weeks around my birthday. Which coincidentally is the day after easter. DH is at a school in AZ until the end of April and figured he'd have a 4 day weekend for the holiday. Which would mean we could have the party that weekend, he'd be here for easter and my birthday. So I've been asking him for... nearly 2 months now to check to make sure that is a 4 day so we could book his flight. Every single time he tells me "I don't see why I wouldn't but I'll ask tomorrow" Well "tomorrow" usually turns into a few days and then he ends up asking someone tells me that person doesn't know and that he needs to talk to the coordinator... Yet every time he doesn't ask the right person!! Well today he decides to tell me that it doesn't look like he will have a 4 day (which I know isn't his fault)... but the fact that I have asked for a month for him to simply find out and he kept me assured that there would be no reason to think it wouldn't happen. I'm not so much mad at him as I am disappointed! After he graduates he has 2 weeks of leave 1 of those weeks are going to be spent in Disney the other we were going to see family and try to squeeze in a small bday party for DD before we took off to Hawaii. So now it's either DD doesn't get a bday party or I don't get my gender reveal party. I just want to stomp my feet and cry.

Is there any way that you could do the gender reveal party when you planned and just skype with him so he finds out at the same time? Not ideal, but better than nothing.

It crossed my mind. Honestly I told him to just fly in for the day to find out what his child is.. he doesn't feel like doing that though

Well, I would just tell him when to be on skype and take your phone/computer

Or how about you tell him first and still have the party? I wouldn't not have it just cause he can't be there. And no its not his fault but he should have asked a while ago!!!

When James was in Afghanistan, I felt so bad doing things without him. I found out Kenzi was a girl, had her shower, had Luke's first birthday party. All of that stuff. As much as I wanted him there, it just didn't work out. But, skype is better than nothing. At least he would be able to see what's going on even if he can't physically be there.

My dad was a Marine so I know for a fact that it is better for the kids to continue having these things instead of not because Dad can't be there. Until my brother was born, my mom didn't want to do anything while dad was gone and it was really bad for me.
