I posted this on FB, but not everyone is on there. Apparently there is a link to your hormone levels on your first trimester screen and gender as well as the thickness of the neck fold. It's pretty interesting. I've found a ton more links about it after the initial one. I was only aware that girls had measurably higher hCG levels after around 8 weeks. I was thinking it would be fun for us to guess gender based on our test results and see if it's right.

You didn't get a printout or info from your first trimester screen levels? This time I got the actual lab printout, but usually they just told me the percentage they fell into for their level.

Mine never tells me the level unless I ask. They just say "they went up" or that they look good. If I hadn't had the bleeding, I wouldn't have known my levels either.

These aren't your regular hCG levels measured in early pregnancy. These are the hormone levels specifically measured on the first trimester genetic screen. The majority of women have this testing done which is why I was asking.

Based on: 2378.28 IU/mL
hCG1 MoM: 1.19

So, I'm confused lol

Okay, based on the MoM of your hCG, per the study it would lean toward having a girl.

Was this from your first trimester genetic screen though?
