I have boy stuff from both kids and a bunch of girl clothes I've acquired over the years with some of my past losses. So I don't really have to buy much of anything yet. At my NT scan the tech said 70% chance of girl and I'm really hoping, but I'm also afraid to get too excited about it because it's early and not an exact thing.

Am I in high school again? It seems like everything I ask my husband to do he is like and what am I going to get out of it? He's all like so i'm going to get sex out of that right, or some other sexual favor......I'm like good grief grow up!!

I guess i'll just do it all myself

Pregnancy is measured in trimesters from the first day of your last menstrual period, totaling 40 weeks. The first trimester of pregnancy is week 1 through week 12, or about 3 months. The second trimester is week 13 to week 27. And the third trimester of pregnancy spans from week 28 to the birth.

This was on WebMD so this is what I'm going by. This is what my doctor with my son always said, too. Some people say it doesn't start until the end of your 13th week, but I'm gonna say my 2nd trimester starts Wednesday! Haha!

Just got home from the ER about 25 mins ago. DS came into my room around 245 sounding like he was struggling to breathe, crying and saying that he felt like his throat was stuck. I freaked out thinking his throat might be closing up and drove him to the ER down the street. A dose of prednisone and two nebulizer treatments later we were released with a diagnosis of croup. We were there about two hours and now I just want to sleep but he's wide awake of course. Lol. I'm just glad he's feeling better now. He wouldn't even smile when we went in. Now he's back to himself...laughing, smiling, talking nonstop, singing.

Hopefully we can sleep a few hrs...it's 530am and my parents are bringing me his old nebulizer machine around 8am...sigh!

Elaine is totally the middle name that I have picked out for a little girl as well! It's nonnegotiable. I'm naming her after my friend who passed away with cancer. I always promised her, so it means something. We have been wishy washy with the other names. I want Brynnley Elaine. That way it kinda matches Brantley's name. SO is ok with it but on the fence. So I told him if he lets me have that name, he can pick the boy name, which will probably be Wesley Drew after both of our bestfriends and his brother. Not really set in stone yet though...

So glad he's okay! That would freak me out! Brantley has been having the runny nose and hacking cough from the drainage. Poor baby. I'm glad he's running around, feeling better, but I also hope he poops out for you soon so you can get some sleep!

Pregnology.com says 13wks, my what to expect book says 14wks. That's why I am confused, lol.

Good morning ladies....so my son is having a complete melt down right now. He doesn't want to go to school and he doesn't want to put his leg braces on, but he does NOT want to be put in his wheelchair. If he doesn't wear the braces it is a safety issue and therefore he has to be in the w/c. He's literally in hysterics right now cause he doesn't want either one. He's got DH so mad he went upstairs and slammed the door. I can see how today is going to go.

Thanks, I'm glad he's okay too! Aww I hope Brantley feels better soon!

I got a few hours of sleep but my parents are here with the nebulizer so now I'm awake again and of course, DS is wide awake again too lol.

September 16th due date here! This is my 4th and my hubby's 1st. We're both 40 and planned this pregnancy but it's definitely going to be a whirlwind life changer! My children are 19, 17, and 10. A lot has changed since I had my 10 yr old. I feel like a new mom all over again with some of the new gadgets out there, lol. Hope everyone is doing well
