It breaks my heart that I've never been able to push my babies out. I was in labor with Luke for 10 hours when I had my emergency csection. And if I could do a midwife and try for a homebirth (it's illegal here   ) then I would in a heartbeat.

When I was asking about it, my doctor was like "I would love to let you try, but the hospital I deliver at isn't equipped for a VBAC or VBA2C" They apparently have to have so many certain doctors on hand 24/7 just in case something happens.

Yeah I think about doing it differently all the time. I try not to be so down about it but I do think about it.

So it's not even 4:00 and there's already an hour wait at Cheesecake Factory.   I think we're going to go somewhere else.

I see you're in Oakland, I used to live in Concord! I moved to NY in '08.

I'm at Midas getting my brakes done. Yesterday out of no where they had this weird grinding feeling, then it became auidable, then when I'd come to a complete stop my brakes felt like they caught on to something and I would have to change gears and go back in drive to move or else the wheels would just spin but my car wouldn't move.
Turns out: a bolt came loose on my brakes. My brakes weren't even attached, my tire was holding it in place. :/ im so glad I came straight in, that's so scary...

I actually have dreams that I'm able to have a completely natural birth and wake up crying. I'm glad I had the emergency csection for Luke. They lost his hearbeat and even an internal monitor wasn't picking it up so it was what was best for him. But when I had Kenzi, I should have fought harder or gone to a different doctor to try for a VBAC.

There is only one hospital around here that even offers them. I tried like hell to get in with EJ but they don't accept medicaid and with my other insurance I had it was a $250 deposit and we just simply never had it. I'm thinking about trying to get in there and doing the deposit or whatever with taxes when we get them, if they will accept me in as a new patient.
