Hmmm.

I'd make the chalkboard part, and then get a whole bunch of cutesy things to glue around the border instead of buying a border. That'd be pretty easy!

What types of things?

hmm...the only thing i can think of doesn't sound super easy. paint a piece of wood with chalkboard paint and then use the wood to replace the glass/backing of a picture frame...

Hmm. I dunno... but there are tons of little wooden or fabric-y decorations of all sorts at Michaels.... I'd go and look around and play

It's really easy to take the innards out of a picture frame! Another good idea

That's now where I found it... but you just glue crayons to the top of a canvas and melt 'em! I used a hair dryer, but there's other ways I think.

Yes....... though she HATES the sound of the hairdryer, so she got fed up with that after a few minutes. haha. But otherwise, yes.

We did one with all the fun crayon color names facing out so you could read em.
