That's essentially my view too. Although my work had a "shower" for me with my second, but it was no presents, just cake and a potluck, so not really the same kind of thing.

My time zone is so behind that by the time i get to catch up and post everyone is in bed =/. I got my first cravings today, and anything w/ vinegar is on my list lol. I hope everyone sleeps well tonight, and feels better tomorrow. My last pregnancy I found that keeping a box of fruit loops next to the bed and eating a few hand fulls before even standing up got my blood sugar leveled out and I could avoid sickness.

possibly at 13 weeks when the risk is much lower, but I never did really, since I know all the horrible potential outcomes and I have had preterm contractions with each pregnancy that went beyond 1st trimester

Agreed - very tacky. Where I'm from, one would very much be looked down on upon for doing that (or allowing someone to do it for you) and people would get offended and view it as greedy.

I always thought the same thing. I have a feeling my work will do a small one because they do one for everyone no matter what (mainly our secretary arranges it all) However, I'll be fine w/o one.

I'm starting to worry about how weak I've been feeling. No matter what I do it just gets worse and worse. Just trying to get off the couch just a few minutes ago after changing DD, I fell   it was like my legs just gave out. No matter what I do, I can barely eat or drink anything cause it makes me sick. I'm constantly dizzy and weak.

I don't like feeling like this   I'm so dizzy now (just walked the kids out to my mom so she could take them to school) that I can barely breath. I've never been like this.

Is anyone else feeling like this?

Mine is constant. Like, it never goes away, no matter what I do.
