Showering

My 11 month old doesn't let me shower! Lol when i turn on the shower he cries so hard so i have tried to put him in with me but he cries even harder (he's scared).. so i wait until he naps during the day and wait til he goes to bed during the nighttime to take my showers, no biggie, but how old was your child when they stopped being scared of the shower? Or were they ever scared??

I started bringing my daughter in the shower with me when she was like 3 days old, so she has never been afraid of it.

Mine weren't ever scared because I always co showered after their cords fell off. LO is 10 months and she loves shower time. She will knock over the wastebasket in the bathroom and stand on it to try to climb into the tub.

My son falls asleep to it! He cries every time I turn the fan on in the kitchen when I cook though!

My LO isn't scared of the shower, but doesn't like to sit in his high chair or bouncer while I'm in the shower. If I want to take more than a 3 minute shower (aka if I want to wash my extremely thick, long hair) I have to shower after he goes to bed, and then straighten it the next day during his nap.

How do you co shower? Dumb question, but somedays it'd be to nice to be able to do this.

I co showered all my kids as babies, so they were never afraid of it, maybe pick him up and hold him in the shower??

She sits in the bottom of the tub with her toys while I wash up really quick, then I pick her up and wash her up. Or, I'll put the plug in and let the tub fill up and we play with her toys. When she was smaller, I'd take her bouncy seat in the bathroom, sit her outside the shower with her diaper on, wash up and then grab her.

i think i may have just waited too late, maybe if i would have started showering with him when he was little he wouldnt mind it. I have put him in the shower before he started bawling crying so i picked him up but then i had the hardest time washing myself lol

Mine were never afraid of the shower. But I never took them into the bathroom with me as babies. I just put them in their crib in their rooms while I shower.

To this day my 10.5 month old plays in her crib an HR every morning while I take my bath. Lol

They started only taking showers at 1 yrs old.
