Anyone ever had this?

I'm breastfeeding my LO and having trouble with one of my boobs, for whatever reason it hurt when she is feeding from it and I thought its cause she been lacking wrong so even after making sure she does so correctly, still
Hurt....in fact I developed this white puss looking thing on my nipple, so I stopped feeding her from it and pumped from that boob. Then when the puss went away, I thought it was all better and start
Feeding her from it and though then pain got a bit better never went away. Well today It hurts so bad that it is the worse pain ever especially when she laches so I been trying to pump and it hurts when I do that as well. I
Think I have infection inside my duct or something? I dunno but it hurts. What is it and what can I do? Do I call my OB?

How long has this been happening? A clogged milk duct should clear up in a few days, it might have turned to mastitis which is an infection. I have had clogged ducts that hurt just like what you described though. Massage that side in hot showers, use heating pads on it, and only nurse of THAT side. You need baby to suck it out.

I would call.
It could be a clogged duct, but it sounds like the beginning of Mastitis. Watch for your boob to turn red, hot to the touch, and developing a fever. If you have any of those side effects, it's Mastitis and you'll need antibiotics.

It could also be Thrush. Is the thing on your nipple like, a bump? You can easily find out by taking your LO to the pedi- if they check and he has Thrush, then you'll have it as well.

If it doesn't go away in a day or two doing all those things I'd try to get in to your doctor.

Ya I did those things but got worse not better. Do I call my OB becaus I don't have any other doctors. And I'm 3 wks pp, had it since week 1 but thought it was her laching wrong then, buy its gotten worse now...much worse!

If it is thrush wouldn't I have it in both boobs? It's just in one and the white is turned to yellow then went away, and misir just hurts SO BAD I can't feed her off it....im in that much pain.

Thrush would burn the outside, Mastitis or clogged duct would hurt on the inside.
Yes, call your OB.
