Crying.

posted 26th Dec
My son won't stop crying. it sounds like he is getting murdered. He ate, he got burped and a clean butt. He falls asleep, then wakes up and starts all over again. Hes only 3 weeks old too.

And Im home alone.

My son does that sometimes, he is 2 weeks old. Try laying him on your chest & patting his back until he falls asleep. That is the only thing that calms my son down when he gets in those moods. But the bad thing is, I have to make sure he is in a deep sleep when I lay him down or he will wake up & start screaming again until I put him back on my chest.

Lucia did this last night....I literally slept for half an hour last night.

I rocked her and cried with her...   Not the helpful, I know.

Rub him down with lotiion. Odd to silence crying but if he feels physically uncomfortable in any way he'll scream. Massage his stomach too. That helps with gas. DS screamed & screamed sometimes until i'd be just as hysterical as he was. Talking to him helped a bit, he's also quite fond of a pacifier

Maybe try a nice bath? Definetly add some lotion and massage him. Do you have a car to maybe take him for a drive? When Noah gets like this, i tend to put him on the breast to suckle in comfort..usually i use the side-lying position. Not sure if you BF or not.
