2 year old & post c section

I had a c-section 9 days ago, my toddlers been staying with my family for the past week, because Im a single parent. but I miss him & want to get him home today (I was going to wait til monday) does anyone have any advice so I dont end up hurting my incision?

Don't pick him up. If he wants you, sit and have him sit in your lap. I had to show dude how to climb in the bathtub and do quite a few other things I'd been doing for him that I hadn't even realized were going to be a problem. Lol.
Most importantly, listen to your body. If you feel like you're starting to overdo it, have him stay with family another few days.

How long was it before you were able to go about things somewhat normally? I feel great, when I go visit sebby & he wants me he knows he has to climb to get to me lol.

Not long. A couple weeks. My recovery was really smooth.
