Baby after abortion

Im 23 in 2011 i had a surgical abortion.i was 21 jus started school & i was terrified of disappointing my family & myself.my boyfriend & i had jus started getting our careers off the ground as much as we both wanted the babywe decided together it wasnt the right time.after the abortion i got depressed i thought i had made a mistake it took me awhile to get over it.we havent been trying to get pregnant before we jus havent been using any protection.we're finally in a good place,both have great careers & we want a baby but so far nothing.anybody else have difficulty getting pregnant after abortion or any advice or suggestions? We're just so anxious to become parents.

My friend had an abortion years ago and has had many miscarriages since then. She has scar tissue and hemmoraging a lot. She regrets it.

But I also have a friend who had like 6 abortions and a healthy baby and many friends who had abortions and healthy babies after.

I had an abortion when I was 16, at age 20 I delivered my healthy daughter and now at 24 I'm pregnant again by surprise.... Its very uncommon to have fertility issues after an abortion.

I aborted at 13, had a daughter at 16, two very early miscarriages at 17 and 20, and I'm a little over halfway done with my second child at 22.

None were planned so I've obviously no problems with conception.

I had a surgical one in January 2010. It was what was best at the time.

In August 2011, we started "trying". More in the sense we 100% quit using any form of protection. May 2012 I started paying more attention to things, ie using ovulation predictors and keeping more track of that. We tried for 14 months and nothing. We gave up in November 2012. It took a huge toll on us, and now barely have sex haha. Just makes me feel like a failure every month, and he doesn't like to see me that way. It kinda was a buzz kill.

I'm really hoping there isn't any scar tissue or anything, but I'm afraid to go to the dr to find out
