A smell?

I know its normal to leak fluids .... Got that but latley well its been awhile , I have been noticing a smell to it , its kinda gross, smells like old urine and ya just bleh, is that normal ?? I am 12 weeks pregnant and dont have any itching or anything but its freaking me out :/ i can smell it sometumes if i open my legs its gross haha sorry for the tmi ...

Hmmm could possibly be Bacterial Vaginosis. It causes an odor and extra discharge. It's a ph imbalance.

Hmmm so will it hurt babie ?? I got my pee tested like a 2 weeks ago.. they didnt say anything

BV is tested by a swab, so it wouldn't show up in urine. It can't hurt to go to the doctor just in case. If you have it while pregnant you have a higher chance of miscarriage if it's not treated :/

When I was diagnosed with it with my 2nd pregnancy they tested me during a pelvic exam, not with urine. And yes if left untreated it can be dangerous to baby. I was on antibiotics forever and it never cleared up, I had preterm labor at 27 weeks and had to be admitted for 8 days. The infection cleared up and then came back and I had the baby at 34 weeks. BV is not something to be taken lightly.

I think that would be a good idea, I'm sorry if we're scaring you but it's better to know then not to. I truely hope everything is ok and if it does turn out to be BV it is cleared up fast.

I have that same problem. But my husband noticed it at first. I just got rid of a yeast infection... just make sure you keep yourself clean.

Good that everything is fine. Just be sure to clean thoroughly and keep yourself dry, too.
