I am use to it, one second she is nice the next she is down right evil. In one month she given us 180 dollars then turned around and said I only make dead babies.

My family isn't religious. My mother is a scientist and complete atheist, my father more agnostic (as is SO), and my grandmother is former pentacostal. I honestly didn't think there would any kind of reaction.

Many other christians debate me on this...but.....

Personally, I don't view Christmas as much of a christian holiday- Christmas is FILLED with pagan rituals, and biblically, you're not supposed to even put up a tree and decorate it. So, for me, even though I am technically a christian by the worlds standards (I am more spiritual than anything and simply try to be the best person I can be- etc) I don't subscribe to everything we do. I celebrate christmas as a time of giving, charity, love and kindness. A time to spend with family, and have a few laughs. I know Jesus was NOT born in December, and Christmas' traditions are not truly christian, therefore, ANYONE can celebrate it and take whatever they want away from it. Christmas is supposed to be a time of fun and love- EVERYONE can participate in that.

Jeremiah 10:2-4

King James Version (KJV)

2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not

They sound like horrible people.

Since when do we get religious days off from work?

Celebrate whatever you want however you want & forget them.

If they were "true Christians" and thought Christmas was all about Jesus they would welcome ANY little bit of God's love into your life that it may lead you to someday seek the path of salvation, not tell you that you are not worthy to partake. Tell them THAT! LOL

Lol.
Christians debated a great deal about the celebration. As with all big religions, lots of things are and were subjects of debate.

A LOT of smurf in christianity is based off of paganism! I'm not christian and don't believe in god, but I still celebrate xmas as a time of being with my family.

Christians hijacked pagan holidays/traditions to try to convert people to Christianity. Christmas is not a "Christian" holiday so they can suck it. I'm an atheist and I still celebrate it.

christians don't believe the laws of the ot apply to them however. Plus the tree symbolism there is referring to trees being cut down in worship of pagan gods.

ah but the christmas tree is basically to worship Santa ... who is based off Odin who flew over the houses on Sleipnir during the winter solstace and left presents for the children who gifted his mount with sugar on their doorsteps. So every Christmas tree is in fact an idol for a pagan god.
