question about hpv?(having kids while having hpv)

I have had hpv for nearly three years now & have never had any problems.. Well I havent shaved down there in awhile and now that I have I notice a small bump it bleeds when I try to scratch it off it doesnt itch doesnt really look like a wart I dont see an opening or seeds...But it isnt pimple like like an ingrown hair..

I am almost 34 weeks pregnant and am terrified of having a c section. I had my other kids natrually... If this is a wart is that considered an outbreak or would an outbreak be multiple?

If it's a wart they will come in patches i think.. I have HPV also.. I have had 2 Gardisil shots, i take one more in like two months and im done. I also have a bump like your talking about though.. It's only 1 and it stays there.. The nurse told me it was a skintag.

Hopefuly that is just what it is! I know it sounds gross but when i googled images they all came up in patchs and I did not see just a single bump thats why I was wondering what was considered an outbreak because every website I've read said you cant deliver natrually during an outbreak. I have a dr appointment Friday so I am going to ask them about it.

Never Google, you will scare yourself! I had an outbreak and i googled and i cried myself to sleep for 2 weeks until i got the courage to go to the doctor, and it wasn't as bad as i thought it was lol.

Every website I've read from says you cant. The only talk I remember having with my dr about hpv last pregnancy was her telling me I could have my son natrually and if I had something more serious like herpes is when they prefer you to have a c section but that was before this bump came along and got me worried! I hope my dr agrees with your dr but I am scared of a c section!

yea. google scared me lol. my dr said the risk isnt that high for baby to get in respitory tract. hopefully your doc agrees, but i havent been offically dianosed with hpv. just another surprise i got along with this pregnancy

I have herpes & was told if I have an outbreak during labor, it's an automatic c section. But I don't know if hpv works the same, maybe it just depends on the type you have. But from what my mw has told me, the best way to transfer hpv & herpes is to come in contact with the infected area during time of outbreak so I'm thinking that probably means c section for any type of outbreak just to minimize transferring it to baby.

See I am a little confused on what an "outbreak" is considered in my situation.. Also is that meaning anywhere on you down there or more close by to the opening or insides? This bump is located close to the crease leading to my leg...

I have a skin tag right in the crease of my leg. It got bigger as my pregnancy went on, and would often catch on my underwear and tear open. And bleed...bleed like I was stabbed. No lie.

I had a csection because I had an outbreak a week before I was supposed to be induced (herpes). Mine wasn't too bad. I would just bring it up to the doc next time you are there. I have heard different things about delivering with an hpv outbreak, so I am really no help there.

Typically with an outbreak, there's more than just 1 bump. I thought I had an outbreak when I went in for a pap because I had felt a bump close to my rectum & was told it wasn't an outbreak... So, you're probably in the clear. Plus it's closer to your leg than your vag, I think if you were to go into labor, you'd be able to do it naturally.
