Period after abortion?

I had my abortion on November 19th, and still havent had a period... So i havent had on since like mid October..... Is that normal?   Figured i would have gotten it by now. I started the pill a few days after the abortion also.

I had my surgical abortion at 8 weeks 5 days on February 19, 2009.
My period Returned April 7, 2009.
However birth control takes at least a month to start working, so if you have had unprotected sex before the BC kicked in you could also be pregnant.

might be the pill? i havent had a period since my abortion but have taken my 2nd strip of pills back to back after the first strip without a break because i don't WANT a period!

after my first abortion we were just using condoms and i had a very light "period" or some sort of bleed, like 3 weeks after, and then a proper one 5 weeks after that... and then another one 5 weeks after that (then i got pregnant again!) my cycles are usually 5 weeks long so i think maybe the first one after can be a bit out, but after that they settle back to normal.

but on the pill it just depends on the pill youre on and if you have a break or not i guess xx
