Yeah I had a condition called Adenomyosis which is very painful. I was actually on percocet my whole pregnancy and was starting to wean off of it before my daughter was born (so there was less of a chance she'd be withdrawing when she was born... she was fine in that respect). Went back on it after my c-section. Actually the jackass doctor gave me vicodin but my real OB gave me darvocet when I called him because viocdin doesn't cut it for me. Then 6 weeks after my csection I had a radical hysterectomy, cue the morphine and dilaudid. I had a morphine pump after my surgery and I was on dilaudid pill form for several weeks then percocet after that. THEN I had my gall bladder and appendix out... it was a busy 6 months.

At the time it didn't really seem like it. I think because I'm stubborn and just get up and keep going along. My daughter was born at 6:30 on a Wednesday then lifeflighted to the NICU that night 2 hours away because she was a premie. At 1pm I walked out of the hospital even though my epidural hadn't completely worn off after the csection (couldn't feel my right leg... at all).I swear I would have been one of those moms who gave birth in the field, strapped the baby to my back and then kept on picking cotton. Which is somewhat a bad thing because I produced enough scar tissue from not resting to cause a problem that I had to have corrected a few weeks ago

Sounds kinda like me. I was doing wayyy too much after my c-section. My daughter was also in the NICU, only for a week though. I was up & at it every day & spent the whole day with her. My ankles got soo damn swollen it was insane lol. Where did the scar tissue form?

I hear ya! DD was in the NICU for 2.5 weeks, my ass walked there every day from the ronald mcdonald house.

The scar tissue embedded itself from my csection and hysterectomy scars and attached itself to my intestines. So my intestines were fused to my abdominal wall from the scar tissue.

Not until recently. My doctor has a theory that I aggrivated an already growing problem after I participated in an event called Tough Mudder.I really started having problems about a week after the event. He's advised me to heal completely before I start training again. And that's exactly what I'm doing.

Yea, you should. Sounds like you over work yourself a lot. Hope everything heals up well for you.
