Waste of money, in my opinion. It worried me even more than not having a monitor.

Thank you girls. I know it seems ridiculous worrying about sids but after I was shown that website and read what they had to say, it just honestly caused alarm..
They sound like they are dead set positive on knowing exactly what causes it and how to prevent it.

I just want to be the most cautious mommy I can be.

def not a waste of money. If you read the reviews..its saved lives...better to know your baby stopped breathing than to sleep thru it.

I said it was in my opinion, not that everyone who has bought it was unsatisfied. It's just not a monitor I personally like.

That is why I use it whenever she is sleeping. Our first stopped breathing in her crib, suffered brain damage, and couldn't have surgery to correct her heart defects.

I just hate how theirs so much to be paranoid about. I love being a mom but, it's also just terrifying.

The alarm on my monitor went off this morning. No one warned me about newborns and periodic breathing. I was paranoid and couldn't sleep afterwards.

but its better to be warned if she stops breathing altogether, correct? Mayeb the alarm woke her from her deep sleep. it could have just saved her, you never know.

I would rather be warned, or even have a false alarm. I NEVER want to go through that again.
