It's Xmas eve and my husband left me at his parents. Wtf *ra

So I live in California my husband is from new Mexico I've only met his family once last year around this time so I dnt know them very well. I left my family in Cali to travel to NM with him and our new baby boy so his family could meet him. He decides to schedule a tattoo appt today at noon Ok I get it he only sees his artist once a year his appt was at noon he said that he wasn't going to be gone all day it's now almost 6 o clock and he's STILL not back. Not only do I feel outta place and have to pack for me and my son (were traveling to his moms tonight 3 hours away) but my son won't sleep. He's gonna be so upset when he gets home ready to go and I'm not done yet because the baby just wants to smurfing scream and nothing is making him happy. He txts me at430 saying that he was done and leaving out the door then calls me a few minutes ago saying he was just leaving...WTF has he been doing for the past damn hour? Standing around with his finger up his butt? Cause I know for a fact he didn't have that much work to do on his tattoo he had maybe 2 hours of work left Idk if I'm over reacting or not but I'm smurfing pissd.

It sounds like he has a good relationship with his tattoo artist if he scheduled an appointment on Christmas Eve. Maybe they're really good friends and he's seeing friends at the shop that he used to know? Besides, maybe he thought they were almost done and the artist wanted to add something to it? I understand being frustrated, but 6 hours isn't a big deal for a tattoo if it's well done.

Ya I know that 6 hours isn't long I have more ink then he does. but I know what he had left to finish on his tattoo I think I just feel really outta place and I started my period today (which sucks) and its just frustrating when he says one thing but does something else. He does it all the time but if I do it he acts like its the end of the world

Men are silly like that. Just try to calm down. Your baby could be picking up on your stress, too. I know DD is extra fussy when I am. Let him enjoy himself now and make him pay for it later.   Haha. You guys still have plenty of time to finish packing before the night is up.
