Can I replace granulated sugar with powdered?

My mom's fudge recipe calls for granulated sugar...well I only have powdered right now. What's the difference and can I interchange them?

Powder sugar has cornstarch. Not sure how that would impact your fudge.

Ooh idk about that   I wouldn't. Usually it turns more frosting ish. But I'm not an expert and haven't tried it before.

I saw that one too. But that's A LOT of sugar. hahahaha

Yes you can, powdered sugar is just granulated sugar finely ground... Sometimes it has cornstarch in it, but the cornstarch wont affect the fudge. I use it all the time.
