Estranged brother:/

So I have a brother, who I was super close with, well all of my sisters and I were close with him. Most people in my life don't even know I have a brother, considering that I haven't seen him in years. It seems to me that since his wife does not like us, this is the reason why he doesn't come around. I feel so sad around Christmas because I wish he'd be here with us, with his kids, and even his wife. Because of this I never get into the holiday cheer  anyone else deal with this? Whenever I talk about him to my son it feels like I'm talking about my dead brother, when in reality he's very well alive and lives not even 3 minutes away from my parents.  

Wow. I'm really sorry. That's horrible. Is there a way to see the brother and his kids without the wife?

We've really tried everything, like we still invite him for every holiday, we call, text, leave voicemails. Nothing. The crazy thing is that my sisters still see him, they all go to the same church, it's a big church so they just catch glimpses of him and he acts like he doesn't even know them. His little boy does go to my sisters Sunday school class after its done and talks to her a bit but that's it. Since I live in okc I haven't seen him in like 3 years 

I have a brother like this. Ever since he started dating his current gf he never visits or talks to the family. He acts like he's not even apart of the family. The funny part is we have always treated his gf great. I think it's her though she's 2 faced. We also all live in the same town. We say hi when we see each other but nothing else, he pretty much acts like he doesn't know us.

Thats so sad  I'm pretty sure it's my SIL. She hates my parents. So in turn I guess she hates us too. I've never done anything to her.

I haven't seem one of my sisters in more then six years. Family still invites her over, brother even said she could move in with him to try and get her closer. She is adopted and found her biological family, who stole money from her. Now she lists them as her siblings on facebook, and ignores me completely. I broke down this holiday season and wrote a long message asking if she still wanted to be my sister...no reply.

I've stopped wrapping presents for her, don't even know her address or phone number. Our kids have never met her, not once. I still cry about her on her birthday, and big holidays. She was the one I looked up to as a kid.

My uncle just started this a few years ago. All the sudden he said he can't forgive my grandparents for giving other kids more attention then him when he was a kid.. (long story that goes with that, but yes.. partly true my dad and uncle and aunt were not treated the same as the other kids) My dad called him and said he knows how it is to remember the past .. but my grandparents have changed now and he needs to start talking to family and coming around. But my uncle said no. So since he's mad at my grandparents he has stopped taking calls from all brothers and sisters and neices and nephews.. he's stopped visiting us all.. and he doesn't want anything to do with us.. and my aunt doesn't either. I mailed them a christmas card this year... it's weird that someone I was so close with growing up didn't even know I had a son till I mailed him Christmas cards. I wish he wouldn't push us all away. And yes his wife (my aunt) Is also the one who is pushing this.... so I can somewhat understand.. although it's my uncle not my bro.
