Gush of clear discharge

I'm not pregnant but yesterday I had a lot of clear liquid gushing from me. It happened today, too. I'm thinking I'm ovulating or getting close but this gush has never happened to me. The day before my bf had fingered me and I had an O but I don't think the two could be related. Sorry if this is a stupid question. I just want reassurance.

It happens to be when I'm ovulating and then I have clear, snot like discharge for a day or 2.
