yay!!! thats really good for a weeks worth!

I am unsure what to say to help in your current situation. My preemie was IUGR as well and he really has never grown. He goes months without growth at all, but he is 3 now. He is a whopping 25 pounds soaking wet. Hope you find some answers!

My DD was born at 5 lbs 8 oz & dropped down to 5 lbs by the time we left the hospital about 4 days later ( She was a 35 weeker & breastfed)

At her one week weight check, she was only 5 lbs 3 oz. So they pushed me to supplement, so I did.

Then at her 2 week weight check, she finally got back to her birth weight of 5 lbs 8 oz.

By one month I quit supplementing all together & she really started gaining weight then.

You can look at my profile to see her weight progress. Long story short, she was 20 lbs by her 9 month checkup.

She didn't have IUGR though. but I just wanted to say that we had a slow start helping her gain weight, but once she did, it packed on fast. I hope that's the case for you guys!
