how exactly does it work and what is your average pay/hrs? do you have to buy into it first with money out of your own pocket or what?

You get a certain number of points for every purchase you make and a certain percentage of the money your employees spend. Starting pay (the first few months) is only a few hundred (depending on how much you spend on your own purchases), but if you work part-time (15 hours a week) you have the potential to work up to $5000 a month. If you work full-time, you can quit your normal job and use Quixtar for everything. One of our close friends in the business started at 19, retired at 27 and just build his and his wife's dream home and paid it all off in cash...it's not a small home either.

We currently make between $1500 and $3000 depending on what we need. If I buy new makeup (Artistry, NAO brands) or new clothes (you get discounts at online stores like Omaha Steaks, Barnes and Noble and American Baby, etc) it's a bit higher, but if we just need the essentials (toothpaste, dish soap, etc) it's a little on the lower side.

It completely eliminates the need for going to the store for anything other than fresh food. They have energy drinks, diet foods and kids foods. It's insane.

Are the prices for things you need, reasonable?

We're already short on money with a baby on the way and things right now are hard to afford

If you click the link I provided in the first post about it, you can click on brands and see all the brands we sponsor and you can get prices. They're actually cheaper than the website lists (you have a choice between giving your customers wholesale or retail).

Sooo..I don't get it. I'm sorry if this sounds dumb..but you buy household items, and get paid? Why wouldn't they just give you the items? And when you're talking about your employees, who are they? And is that the only way you make money on the site? You buy stuff?

Essentially you're switching the brand of product you usually use to their brand. You're saving a bunch of money by buying direct from the manufacturer and they're assuming that if you like the products, you spread them by word-of-mouth. They don't spend money on advertising so everything is WOM. You do get free samples to try new products, but you don't make ALL of the money back that you save.

When you love a company like I do, you spread the word. People get interested and they sign up under you. (Like you guys would sign up under me) and those are your employees.

i saw the liveops.com and another one on the morning show that were legit, I just can't think of the other one right now. The lady said she makes between $9-12/hr depending on how much she works.

I found out about liveops through my uncle who helped start the company. You can see the video from when they were on whatever morning show...(GMA or Today show) on their website
