When did your kid stop napping?
posted 24th Dec
To nap or not to nap? Parents, when did you stop putting your kids down for naps? My son is absolutely refusing to nap, and at 3 years old I am wondering if napping is no longer needed. He doesn't get cranky and doesn't go to bed any earlier. I am just wondering if napping is still super important at this age. He goes to bed at 10 and wakes up at 8:30 am. Please weigh in

My daughters 2.5 and she sometimes naps. I've heard that they need naps until they're 4!

My daughter just turned two and takes her naps daily between 1-2pm. She goes to bed on her own and falls asleep.

My oldest stopped napping around two years consistently . She still took naps every once in awhile so I just followed her lead. My second daughter is three and still needs naps and I can't see that changing anytime soon.

My oldest is 4 and takes an afternoon nap pretty often, especially when sick. Sometimes DS1 just uses nap time as a time to chill out and look at books or play with his tablet.
My middle baby is 2.5 and he still takes afternoon naps pretty consistently.
My youngest just turned 1 and he's still doing 2 naps a day (morning and afternoon), but sometimes he'll just sleep in and skip the morning nap.
