I was 163 when I found out I was pregnant, and I was 212 right before I had my daughter. I was 216 three months PP! In 18 months all I've managed to come down to 206 but Ive hit a wall. Now that christmas is over, and Im working 1 job again, I'll start working out more, taking DD to the park for some short, cold play time, and walking the dog every day and night. I have to give up the soda, and so thats my next big hurdle. I would rather become active and lose the weight, than do nothing and take something to lose it. I want to tighten my skin, tone and build my muscles, and become more active and flexible. Im determined to start dancing again in september, so I have to lose at least 20-30 pounds by then. I think your best bet is to do cardio and not watch your weight, but watch how your clothes fit. Your muscles weigh more than your fat, so your weight shouldnt matter- just how you feel. Once you start working out, your energy will kick into gear. The hardest part- is starting!
are you still breastfeeding? I only ask because I breastfed my son until 13 months but when he weaned about a month of two after I started dropping lbs like mad... I went from 130-112 within a few months after.
I am pro-extended breastfeeding of course! I am just letting you know that sometimes, some woman don't lose weight until they are done lactating. It kinda sucks. D:
