Possible infection??

I had an abortion two days ago, on 12.21.12. Immediately after my procedure, as they told me to do I went and I got something to eat and I took my first antibiotic. (They gave me 4, told me to take two a day with food) So when I finally got home after a 3 hour drive back, I was supposed to eat and take my second one, but I was VERY dizzy and couldn't stand up long enough to go to the bathroom. I passed out in bed and slept until 4 in the morning. As soon as I got up at 4 I went to the kitchen and I ate something. Then I took my antibiotic.
The next day, I ate and took my first one as normal again. The second one, again was delayed because I was dizzy. Except this time I was throwing up. (only water, it was all I had in my system) I laid down for a while and chilled in bed until I was ready to eat. I ate, took my antibiotic. It was about 8 PM.

Tonight, I JUST (quite quickly) started feeling kinda like my temp was high. (slight chills and sensitive skin) I took my temp and it was 100.0.

Could I have an infection? Or is a slight raise in temperature normal? Is this stuff normal?? My uterus is very hard and it hurts. Is smaller than normal, like its shriveled and trying to go back to its normal size, but its definitely sore.

What do ya'll think?

A temperature is always a sign of infection.

Some of that sounds like you're having a reaction to the antibiotics. Certain antibiotics always make me puke and feel like crap. Regardless, I would call your ob or the clinic and ask them.

Thats kind of what I thought too, but the temperature got me worried.

100.5 now.
Would I be bleeding a lot if I had an infection?
Because I'm hardly bleeding at all. Its not even red.

Your uterus area would hurt. It would feel sore to touch your belly at all. You might bleed more, but I couldn't guarantee that. If you have retained tissue, in my experience, there were some fairly large clots and I bled for a very long time. There were periods of time where I would gush blood and then pass stuff. I needed U/S to make sure everything passed normally.

Okay well I might just be reacting to the antibiotics...
I'm taking an Emergen-C packet just in case.
I'll keep watching my temp.

It sounds like an infection. A fever will be the first sign of an infection. So get to a doctor asap.. smurffy it's christmas =/
