Very true. Which is why I don't understand when people bitch to others that they "need to be an adult and do it on their own" for the most part. It literally does take a village to raise a child. I see nothing wrong with getting help, I don't get a lot myself, I do but I don't if that makes sense.

I didnt take any classes, didnt feel the need to. I had a c-section though, out of my hands though. But any other element of babyhood I didnt need a class for. Honestly... yup, didnt need it for me.

I held my breath a lot during child birth and was told off for it

I took a Lamaze class, but it didn't seem to help with labor at all. When the time came I had pretty much forgotten everything I learned haha.

Never went for those classes and wish I did. I had no idea how to push, breastfeed or pretty much do anything when I went into labor with my first lol.

It's hard not to hold your breath at some points.

No, we don't use gas and air

I didn't take any classes. The stuff I did know about labor got thrown right out the window as soon as I was actually IN labor lol. My SO was all "You need to breathe!" and I'm like "YOU NEED TO EAT A SmUrfING DICK AND GO TO HELL STFU" hahaha. My midwife helped me alot though, she got me to make lots of deep throaty noises that helped me breathe better.

Every time the nurse would notice me holding my breath through a contraction she would bitch at me. Got real old, real fast. Like, I honestly could not control what my body was doing at that point haha.

I wonder why no? Gas and air is brilliant I'm the only person know IRL who needed an epi thanks to gas and air.
