Procardia/bed rest(update)

Soo the Dr let me go home Saturday evening.. so glad to be able to go home for Christmas. But on Saturday I had fell asleep && somehow the nurses forgot to give me my procardia and so I woke up with bad contractions...crazy how if I don't take one pill my contractions start.
I'm at home now on bed rest && this medicine.. my 36wk appt is on Jan 3rd. Is anyone else on this Med? What did your Dr say about it your appt?

I took it during my last pregnancy. From 26 weeks until 37 weeks. I was also on bedrest for that time. I hope it works to keep your babe in there longer!

My sister is on it now and bed rest, she had preterm labor and was dilated to a 3 at only 29 weeks. If she stops the meds she will have contractions. The doctor said she will take her off the meds at 34 weeks.

I was on procardia with my oldest from 22 weeks. I was taken off along with bed rest at my 36 week appointment. That stuff made me miserable, so I was ecstatic. Plus we could finally have sex again lol. Only to be induced 3 days later for severe pre e

What happened after you got off it at 37wks ? Did you have your baby?

What happened when you got off it? I'm scared to bc my contractions get so bad...

Nothing. I had contractions start at 22 weeks, contractions that would actually dilate me. I was at a 1 when they put me on it. But, after they took me off 14 weeks later I didn't have any more than usual BH. Though, I was only off of it for 3 days.

Nope! I had her at 39 weeks via induction.
