Umbilical granuloma??

Has anyone else's LO had this?! It freaked me out when DD's umbilical cord stump fell off. I had no idea what it was so I googled and this came up. She definitely has this. Does the treatment hurt them?   how long does it take for it to go away after treatment??

My son had this and after 2 treatments it was gone. It didn't hurt him at all.
