Which would you get?

So this gift idea just popped into my head today after months of struggling with gift ideas for SO. So now im scrambling for a last minute gift. Idk which one to get SO for Xmas. He is an adjunct professor so has up to 3 textbooks at a time, the computer plus it's gadgets, papers to grade, and office crap since he doesn't have his own office to keep stuff haha.

This one wouldn't get here by Xmas by I could tell him it's coming. Pro its cheaper. Con I can't see it in person and don't know it's durability. (he's blown through 3 cheap bags the last 1.5 years). sorry I'm mobile and can't do clickies. If someone could help me thanks   $35.99

Then there's this one at our local staples. Much more expensive but it's name brand and looks and feel durable and has TONS of space. Pro it's perfect. Con it's twice as much. $69.99.

Not exact since I can't find the one I looked at in store. It has 3 large pockets though plus te front zip one. It's not leather if that's what this pic is online either.

I think i'd get the one that's at Staples.

I would do the second one. It sounds like it would last longer than the 1st one

I just wanna make sure I'm not spending twice as much for something that's just as good. But now I think about it I'm leaning towards the second one cause I forgot to add he is in his last sem of grad school too so he can fit more in the second one to out work and school stuff on school days.

DH says if the second one is similar to the one your looking at, get it. It looks like it will last longer. Plus the 2nd one has a warranty.

I also decided at the last minute for a gift. After waiting and waiting to do my nephews knit blocks I decided it was to young for him and then had 24 hours to get him a rocking chair that he really wanted.

Thanks. I did go for it. I didn't want to have to buy another bag by next school yr haha. And that always seems to happen if u don't get a good one. I hope he likes it. This is the first time I've actually been able to get him a gift I know he'll like. He always says I buy him gifts that are for me haha. I am such a bad gift giver.
