FML

Some ass hole sent their kid to school sick. DD caught it and now we are ALL sick even my poor 2 month old FML.

I'm sick too, but with food poisoning. I puked and smurf myself all at once, then started my period. God hates me.

Happens all the time at the pre k I work at!! I don't understand why people don't jus keep their kids home. Idk how I have made it this whole pregnancy without catching something serious from my kiddos at work. Hope y'all get to feelin better mama!!

No fun..I think when the kiddos are sick they shouldnt be sent to school or daycare.. not only cause the need the rest to get better but also to prevent others from geting sick. Hope you and your family get to feeling better soon!

Maybe because they can't afford to have the time off work/school? It's a tough situation to be in.

ETA: and there is often a period of incubation with viruses where they are most contagious, and it is before the child starts showing symptoms his or herself. The parent may not have even known the child was ill.

Yeah I understand that side to.

At my DD's old daycare, they didn't even want you sending LO's if they had fevers I hope you all are feeling better soon!   here I was complaining about constipation & a roid. Much rather deal with this than a house full of stomach bugs

From what I can tell you get sick right off the bat. DD came home sick out of no where and the next day the rest of us were sick. And I can understand that some people need to work or whatever but you should ALWAYS have a plan B when you have a kid for things like this. Even when I worked I had a back up plan if my DD got sick. You would never get away with sending you kid to daycare sick why should you because they are in school. It is completely inconsiderate of others to send your kid to school sick. My youngest was a preemie so it is NOT good for him to be so sick. He can barely breath and keeps throwing up.

Some people simply DO NOT HAVE that plan b option though.
