Tubes tied

Okay. So DD was born Nov 5th, and I got my tubes tied 12/17. I am in extreme pain, VERY nauseated, and every time I eat I end up getting sick. They gave me Motrin for the pain, but I told them I can't take that because of how sick it makes me. When I had DD I was throwing up from them giving me the Motrin, and the same doctors were the one who tied my tubes. I called the doctor Friday and told them how I am feeling but they said it was 'normal' and hung up. My belly button hurts (incision there), and about 3 inches to the R of my belly button feels like someone is stabbing me with a knife. Has anyone else had this problem?

Find a new doctor! No one should be treated like that.

I haven't had my tubes tied yet so I have no answer, sorry.  

I had mine done during my c-section. I had extreme pain around my ovaries and tenderness for about 3 weeks. It burned and felt like I was being stabbed with hot knives.

mine felt like someone was poking me with a firepoker and I wanted to die for a few weeks.

Its normal.

THIS is exactly why I won't do surgery. I'm getting Essure after this one is out.

I felt worse a few days after having my tubes tied then I did immediately after. Is there a lump under where it's hurting? All I had after was Motrin and it helped a lot, sucks that you can't take it.

I wound up in the ER yesterday, with severe cramping and N&D. They did all sorts of blood and urine tests and did a CT of my appendix, but everything is 'normal' according to the doctors. Been a miserable week so far

i had mine tied on Dec 7th. and a few days after i had that feeling that you were talking about with the knife. they gave me Vicodin for my pain. it help but it still hurt bad for about 5 days. then i woke up one morning and i fell just fine! i hope it gets better for you!
