Santa Claus??

Hey ladies,
We are getting our babies lots of gifts for Christmas, they will have lots from everyone but the thing is that, I have not said that Santa is bringing the presents... I don't know why I just chose not to lie, even though its innocent and what makes it magical.
Hopefully I'm not alone lol, does anyone else tell your children where the gifts come from as apose to Santa sneaking in while they're asleep to bring them gifts?😊😊

how old are they?

No, that's part of the fun. I wouldn't want to take that special magic of Christmas away from my kids. We do the elf on the shelf, too. The elf hides books in the tree for the kids to find on Christmas.

My son is to young to understand yet and I thought about not telling him that but I've changed my mind. I want him to believe in something but instead of Santa bringing a whole bunch of stuff, Santa is only giving one gift. Santa gets to much credit so he is only giving one gift and the rest is from us.

i feel bad for it being a lie, but my daughter's face just lights up when she talks about Santa, and the things he can do. it's so magical, i just love it. i tihnk she'll forgive me this little lie. lol

i was absolutely heart broken when i found out about santa. but LO believes and i'm not going to take that away from him. he'll figure out eventually.

I've never said that Santa was a real guy, but I've always said that Santa represents the magic of the season...she knew the gifts came from us, put it also stopped her from being a dick and ruining for other kids.

I don't feel like I'm lying to him when I tell him about Santa... I would feel bad though if I didn't let him enjoy that magical belief that there's a Santa Claus who brings him toys on Christmas morning. Besides, unless your kid stays home all day, how have they NOT heard about Santa?!

DD picks the one gift she absolutely has to have, and that is what she tells Santa she wants. The rest comes from family.

That is how we've always done it as well. One gift plus a stocking from Santa, the rest from parents.

me and my husband wanted our children to know the truth but i changed my mind at the last minute. because everytime i want to go somewhere they want to come with me... so i tell them i have to go talk to santa to let him know if they were good or bad this year.

Ofcourse kids hear about Santa from other kids and from television. I'm asking if you tell your children that the presents came from Santa or do u tell them the truth. What "you" tell your babies, not what they hear from other places 😉
