Quoting Jenna + 2!:" <blockquote><b>Quoting 3.24.10 ♥ 9.10.11:</b>" She's 19 lbs 6 oz. Was born ... [snip!] ... drink themselves in the night if they get thirsty.. Maybe try feeding her a bit extra right before bed so she is super full?"
Ugh, she is a bottomless pit! She eats all day long. We've had her tested for a lot of diseases because she eats so much, but doesn't gain. We think it's a couple things 1) a malabsorbtion syndrome and 2) an extremely high metabolism. I think she's legitimately hungry, I hear her tummy growl when I go into her nursery to feed her.
She's still on a hypoallergenic formula because of her allergies and it's a high calorie formula, she gets about 6 -7 8ounce cups a day, and then eats 3 meals plus 6ish small snacks. I seriously don't get how she doesn't gain when she eats so dang much! She's been an a high caloric intake diet since she was 2 weeks old.
