How long did it take for your c section incision to heal, or at least stop being painful?

6 weeks usually for it to feel ok. It's still tender for me five months later.

It took mine a long time to stop hurting. I got cellulitis in the incision when they cut me open though so that probably didn't help.

After a week or so after any of my csections, mine wasn't painful anymore, and by 6 weeks I was totally 'normal' again. The numb feeling was the only part that took awhile for me.

A lot of this question is very subjective and will depend on the anwserers individual pain tolerance...

Mine took about 3 months to heal (bc my body sucks, and it kept coming back open) & about 4 months before the burning pain went away. DS will be a yeR old Friday, and it is still really tender. I can't even let my clothes touch it because it kinda feels like its bruised.

Mine took longer than most because I got a bad infection in it, which landed me in the hospital for a few days & it reopened. It took 3 months for it to fully close back up, it sucked. I had to have it packed 2 times a day until it fully closed. I still have a little pain in it here & there. I am almost 11 months pp lol. When I throw up it hurts like HELL ughh.

I've been waiting for the pain to stop... But I do a lot of moving around and stair climbing because that where my shower is lol

Pain is pain, even people who have a high pain tolerance will still notice that there is some pain it just won't bother them as much as someone with a low pain tolerance.

Uh, not really. I've got a very high pain tolerance....what a lot of people would consider 'pain', honestly doesn't register to me as much more than discomfort. Like, I know it doesn't feel the way it's supposed to be, but to actually call it pain? No.

Well what I am saying is you still feel something....even if you have a high tolerance for pain.
