Felting wool

How do you felt a knitted piece? Does it shrink?

On a similar note, does anyone know a good website for unique knitting inspiration?

You put in in the hot washer like 3 times. My sis did it.

I felt it all the time. I just put it on the hot setting in my washer, then a cold rinse & then a hot drier. It MUST be better than 75% wool or natural (think cashmere) fibers for that to be enough. Personally I try for 100% most if the time.
