There's no harm in him mumbling under his breath. I do the same thing, specially lately.. There's so many rude people out this time of year. It's not like he got in his face or anything, I really don't see the big deal.

I dont see a problem, I would have said it straight to the kids face. :/

I guess I forgot to mention that others around us could hear.. Idk. I think it's just unnecessary to say something like that. People are rude, the world sucks, get over it lol.

Id say it too. There were some teens loudly cussing and talking about sex and pushing each other around at a park where we were at, and they were almost pushing each other into Lily. I finally snapped and said "Hey jackasses, do you mind changing the subject and not pushing each other into children? You can hurt them and they dont need to hear about your sexual conquests." The kids left after

That I could totally understand. I'd do the same. That is inappropriate. Not everyone has manners though. Not everyone holds open doors for people. We can't expect that even though it's common courtesy. That's just the way I see it.

My little brother who is 12 holds the doors open for everyone and all of the elderly ladies and gentlemen cannot believe that he did it and has manners. It's just the kind of world we live in today. What can we do?

I have done that a few times too. Especially when there are a bunch of boys at a park where there are bunches of children playing and they are swearing loudly and talking about all these girls they have smurfed and I have walked up to them and said "Sweetie, your mothers couch cushions don't count as sexual conquests now can you move away from the children? They don't need to know how sad you are. Thanks"

Seriously though, I would have done that same thing..I hate when people talk inappropriately around children. No respect for others.

If you say so... But nobody HAS to hold the door open for somebody. It's just common courtesy, ya know? Not everyone's parents teach them manners, and if they do, not everyone is going to use them.
