I had to do progestrone shots also. Ya it didnt work out to good for me. Do you have preterm labor or IC?

Well, I lost my baby at 20 weeks 3 days last March.. My water broke at 17 weeks. But I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hemhorrage early on in the pregnancy.. by my 14 week NT scan they said it was gone... Bled on and off through the entire pregnancy.. Was told it was a due to sex, and a sensitve pregnant cervix. After I had the baby they took my placenta to the lab and saw that I had a large clot in my placenta, and a massive infection in my placenta as well. They said that the hemhorrage was just a fluke...like getting struck my lightning.. and that it was a result to a week implantation of the placenta. So far at 22 weeks my pregnancy has been progressing fine... cervical length was 3.8 centimeters and has been the entire time... No need for progesterone.. But because I have such high anxiety, the perinatologist said I should go on them if I wanted to just for an extra boost.. also so that IF somethng were to happen, I would feel like I had done everything I could to keep this baby healthy! Its more for piece of mind!

Ohhh ok got it LOL..I have pre term issues. I didnt take the shots in my last pregnancy. My Isabella had T18 so I decided against it. I had her at 32 weeks. She lived for 2 hours and passed away. With my 14 month old I took the shots to see if they would help..NOPE..went into labor at 32 weeks LOL..My oldest daughter had her at 35 weeks. I am sorry for your loss

Thanks, I am sorry for your loss too   you dont realize how inlove you are with your little baby until you see them, and lose them... I was a little skeptical about taking the shots.. But according to my pernatologist, they dont do any harm to the baby.. So I'm hopin she's right. But I cant express to you enough how ready I am to get to full term. This has been the longest/scariest/most stressful/amazing experience of my life. But I'm just ready to hold my little guy.
