BD giving me a day off? I'm suspious

So I was informed that my BD is taking Ally for the day tomorrow. We Dont have a custody agreement or anything. This will be the first time those two have spent any time together and I am A little leery of this all of a sudden interest of being involved. IN her life? Maybe I am just being paranoid but a little Voice is telling me something is up.

Maybe because its almost Christmas he wants to being her around his family?

Maybe he's taking her to get u a gift? Or is that giving him too muh credit?

That is what i was thinking. I would make sure he knows what the guidelines ate for feeding and all that as well as when you expect her back.

She's only 3 months old. Maybe he feels hes ready to take her for a day by himself. Or since its a couple days before Christmas he wants to spend time with her. Maybe he wants her to meet his family. That's alot of maybes I know. But I wouldn't be too suspicious honestly. It isn't like she's a couple years old and just now he wants to get in her life KWIM?

I highly doubt that she's 3 months and has never spent anytime alone with him . he's never bought her anything. He's only seen her twice

Hell no. He hasn't been there and all of a sudden he wants to take her? Okay cool, he may want to get involved but TAKE her for the day? Wouldn't fly with me. I wouldn't hand over my child to a person who wanted nothing to do with them up until this point. I wouldn't be comfortable with that at all.

If you feel suspicious or if you feel uncomfortable go with hour gut.

it's not like I'm against him seeing her, it seems strange

Probably wants to make his family think he's not a deadbeat.

  I agree with this, if he wants to parade her around family, maybe volunteer to go with him, but if he hasn't been involved at all I wouldn't be so quick to hand her over.

I definitely wouldn't be just handing her over, I would be going with no matter how awkward.

3 months old and he's seen her twice? I wouldn't be handing her over for an entire day. He could have a supervised visit with her, but that's the extent of that. My ex offered to reduce my daycare bill by watching her at his apartment twice a week. Yet he's never spent more than two hours at a time with her and that was always in my presence. Yeah no. I told him he needed to spend more time with her and get her used to him before that happened. And it never did. Big surprise.

The more I've thought about this I've changed my mind. Yea I would definitely not be handing her over. He's shown no interest to have her before.
