Target! lol. He hates it, but owning one shirt that doesn't have hurley or billabong on it won't kill him.

Someone else definitely hijacked my uterus with this one. I need more so at least one will look like me

DId the dr say you have to do csections or was VB better for the spinal troubles? I was in active labor for 12 hours before the emergency csection and my entire labor and contractions was all excruciating back pain, even with TWO epidurals   that smurf did NOTHING for the pain I had in my back   ANother reason I am thinking I would rather just be put to sleep and wake up magically with a baby lol

I've had one emergency c-section and 2 elective. i will have my 4th one in feb. you only tend to stay 3-5 days. you'll be on liquid diet until you pass gas or stool. you'll be closed with steri strips tape. you won't be able to leave the recovery room until you can lift your foot (at least) off the bed.you get to take a nap for a few hours while your baby is being inspected after delivery. i don't mind having them. the surgery is not as major as people think it is. you're awake for the whole thing. you can have one person in there with you. they can have cameras or whatever to take pics. you get to see your baby right away but can't hold. which is ok for some people. i broke down when i had to have my first emergency one but he was 9 lbs 3 oz. 21 1/2 inches long with a head circumference of 33 or 43cm. so afterwards i understood why it was needed. it's your choice what you choose to do. just make sure you're ready for it mentally.

I rather have to wait to hold her then me or us both die during labor. Thanks for your input

Yup I had an emergency c-section with my first, and I just had a planned/elective one 13 days ago.

It went amazing, I only had to stay 2 nights, was up walking and showering within 6hrs, I even showered myself.

I loved my second more than my first, maybe because I knew what was going to happen etc.
